FAQ

Operating costs

The actual cost of traveling 100 km with an electric scooter is about 0.5 euros (sic!). For comparison: a scooter with an internal combustion engine 49 ccm you will travel 100 km for around 4 euros. The bike is even cheaper - it all depends on how much power you use to support it. Take a look at our comparison of the costs of buying and operating electric and petrol scooters.

Ecology

Electricity is so-called ""pure energy"". Scooters, bicycles and other electric vehicles do not emit fumes at all - they do not pollute the air, which is especially important in cities where you have to fight for clean air.

Used batteries

On the basis of the Act of 24 April 2009 on batteries and accumulators (Journal of Laws of 2009, No. 79, item 666), as well as other relevant provisions, and above all with the environmental protection in mind, we encourage you to give us used batteries / batteries that we will pass on to appropriate entities for disposal.

What happens when the electric bicycle's battery runs out?

Nothing - you will just go on like a regular bike ? Power assistance will not work, but you will still be able to pedal and ... ride.

Electric scooter range

The range of the electric scooter is 70-150 km. Customers often ask: is this not enough? Let's do a simple conversion, taking the example of the largest city in Poland, Warsaw. We assume (slightly exaggerating) that you live in Bielany and work in Ursynów - it's a 20 km one-way route, i.e. a trip to work and back is about 40 km. You have over 20 km to ""deviate"" from the work-home route - for shopping, meeting friends, a cinema or cafe during the day. And that's enough for everything! In the evening you just charge the battery."

Operation and service

Can I handle such a scooter? What about repairs? - these are frequent questions of our clients. We reassure everyone that driving and operating electric scooters is as easy as scooters with internal combustion engines. Scooter TrybEco does not have a starter, exhaust pipe, pistons, rings, does not require oil change, drive belts, clutch, variator rollers ... And when it comes to service - you don't have to worry anymore when something breaks - we will help repair!

How much does it cost to replace the battery?

The life of a lithium-ion battery is around 800 charging cycles. After this time, its parameters may deteriorate. However, this is not a problem! With minimal costs, the cells in the battery can be regenerated and enjoy its full performance.

Can you ride in the rain?

Hmm, if you like riding in the rain ... of course! Trybeco hybrid bicycles and electric scooters have been tested many times for rainy days. They are tight and absolutely safe in any weather.

How does a hybrid bike work?

A hybrid bike is a combination of a traditional bicycle and an electric bicycle. The vehicle has three driving modes: traditional mode, electric motor assist mode, which has three or five levels depending on the model, and a shift mode. The distance we can cover is, depending on the driving mode, from 50 to 100km.

How does an electric scooter work?

At first glance, the electric scooter is no different from a petrol scooter. However, these are just appearances. It has no starter, exhaust pipe, pistons, rings, does not require oil change, drive belts or clutch. The drive is transmitted via an electric motor located in the rear wheel of the vehicle. Quiet, cheap and ecological.

Is charging cumbersome?

Users often worry about problems charging electric vehicles. There is nothing simpler: just plug the batteries into the electrical outlet and that's it. Ordinary socket, ordinary cord. Simple right? Even when the battery discharges during the day, you can easily charge it in any outlet, because you do not need any special adapters. TrybEco's electric scooters have lightweight, replaceable batteries. This means that even if you live in a block of flats, you can park your scooter in the parking lot and you can easily bring batteries into the apartment!

Baterie Batteries

We only install the best batteries in our vehicles - all our electric bikes have lithium-ion batteries. We attach detailed instructions for proper charging to each vehicle - to maximize battery life.

Do I need a category A driving license?

A driving license of category A is not required for riding a hybrid bike (electric bicycle) Trybeco or for riding our electric scooters. The power of our products is optimally selected: so that while guaranteeing the best performance and the greatest satisfaction from riding they are not additional permissions needed.

Driving comfort

Electric scooters: Electric scooters have a lower center of gravity, so they are less subversive and better to drive, are quiet and clean. What's more, many users like the quiet operation of the electric motor. Riding in silence is a real pleasure! Electric bicycles: You ride the same as on traditional bikes. In fact, electric bikes are slightly heavier than their traditional counterparts (after all, the weight of the engine and battery is added), but thanks to the location of the battery and motor in the hub (in the wheel axis), additional weight is not detectable while riding!
